  Darren Houk started in his early teens working in his father's roofing business in Fort Worth, Texas. He worked his way up the ranks from helper to a roofer. Later, Darren worked with his father in sales and management. In 1994, Darren left the family roofing business to accept a job with a commercial roofing manufacturer to introduce Texas to its first impact resistant composition shingles. Darren later worked with other roofing manufacturers representing and training roofing contractors to install modified bitumen commercial roof systems, tile roofing, and metal roofing systems. These unique opportunities gave Darren the experience and training to make Roofing Solutions one of the most skilled roofs contracting firms in North Texas.
